w. wiedmer ag complies with all statutory and contractual liability obligations in respect of injury and material damage through its business liability insurance of CHF 5.0 million per event. The maximum excess is CHF 500.00 for material damage and CHF 0.00 for injury.

Our rates include transport’s liability insurance of CHF 100,000.00 per shipment to cover any damage to the goods being moved that is caused by employees of w. wiedmer ag. The insurance covers road transports in Switzerland and Liechtenstein in accordance with the general terms and conditions governing the insurance of transport liability (Allgemeine Bedingungen für die Versicherung von Verkehrshaftungen – ABVH 1992-Frachtführer).

Our rates do not include what is known as “all-risk” cargo insurance, which can be taken out separately if required. The amount of the premium will depend on the relevant criteria (type of goods, destination, packaging, sum insured) and will generally be between 0.5% and 1% of the insurable value.
